Bigfoot, Sasquatch, Yeti, Skunk Ape, Wendigo. A cryptic creature by many names. What if we told you he hangs out in Frio County? Grab your gravel or mountain bike and join us for Bigfoot's Gravel Adventures and your chance to see him in person! Starting from Bigfoot City Park, ride 20, 40, or 60 miles touring the country side on beautiful country gravel roads.
Our inaugural year is even more special - it is the day of the solar eclipse and we will have full view in Bigfoot TX! For this reason, our inaugural year is non competitive so you can stop and stare at the sun like Bigfoot looking at a new fence if you choose to. Sign up for this once in a lifetime event today!
Aid stations will provide water and light snacks. Aid locations provided at:
60 miler - 2 aid stations, Miles 30 and 50
40 miler - 1 aid station, mile 9 and 23 (you cross it twice)
20 miler - 1 aid station, mile 9

Each route will be marked at turns with a yard sign. Please download the GPX files below to follow the route on your watch, phone, or bike computer.
Race entry includes lunch with a vegetarian option, and solar eclipse glasses.
This the perfect event for beginner gravel riders, and a favorite of experienced gravel riders.
Our inaugural year is even more special - it is the day of the full solar eclipse! In Bigfoot, TX we will have full view of the eclipse. Do not miss out on this once in a lifetime event!!

WHAT TO BRING:
1. Email Confirmation QR Code: Help us save the trees - keep it on your phone. If you can't locate your QR code email, no problem - we can find you by your name. You can pick up your friend’s packet as long as they signed their waivers.
2. Waivers: Don't forget to log into Bike Reg and sign your waivers if you haven't already. It's a quick step to ensure a seamless start to your ride.
We will have Bigfoot cyling caps for sale at the event.

Do not block any entrances when parking on the street. Park perpendicular to the road to maximize space for all riders.
Venue info
No overnight camping is allowed at Bigfoot City Park. Please respect the residents & Don't Mess with Texas - no littering!
You can bring a canopy, but it’s not necessary. There is a large pavilion available.
lunch details
Each registrant get 1 lunch (meat or veggie option). If you bought an additional lunch, you’ll receive the add on lunch ticket at packet pick up. Additional lunches can be added by logging into Bike Reg. We aren't able to add lunches manually on our end.
Deadline to add an additional lunch is Tuesday, October 1st. All orders must be added and paid on Bike Reg, there will NOT be additional meals available for purchase the day of the event.

Reminders
Cup Less Event:
We're an eco-friendly, cup less event. Remember to bring your refillable water bottles. Aid Stations will have water, Skratch hydration, and snacks.
What to Bring for the Ride:
Your bib, bike, bike lights, sunscreen, refillable water bottle, extra tubes, hand pump, cell phone, lawn chair, and any other essentials for your ride. Helmets are mandatory.

refund policy
Please be aware that our no-refund policy is in place to help us keep the registration cost affordable. If, for any reason, you cannot attend the event after registering, you have the option to transfer your registration to another participant. However, we want to clarify that we are unable to carry over registrations to the 2024 event or offer refunds. Your understanding in this matter is greatly appreciated.
